Sarah is an insurance (personal injury) and professional negligence specialist. Sarah acts for claimants and defendants in personal injury litigation and her practice focuses on high value claims; claims in which fraud and dishonesty are alleged; and, claims with complicated legal, factual and causation issues. Sarah represents injured members of the British Cycling Federation and the British Triathlon Federation and has acted for Team GB members. She has a particular interest in vestibular injuries and balance disorders arising out of accidents and regularly speaks on this subject with a Consultant Neuro-Otologist and Specialist Vestibular Physiotherapist. Sarah was described as being “easily on a par with juniors twice her call”.
Sarah’s professional negligence work is predominantly for insurers and encompasses claims made against a range of professionals; she has recently acted for a tree surgeon and a software developer and frequently acts for solicitors, particularly where negligence is alleged in the conduct of a personal injury claim or arising out of a property transaction.
Sarah sits as a Deputy District Judge (Civil) on the South Eastern Circuit and is an ADR Group Accredited Civil and Commercial Mediator.
Before joining Hardwicke, Sarah worked for two top 40 law firms as in-house Counsel (with a full advisory, Court and pleadings practice), where she gained invaluable experience of working closely with solicitors.
Sarah is recommended as a leading junior for personal injury work by Legal 500.
