We can assist you with issues affecting planning applications, planning inquiries, planning appeals and planning prosecutions and are able to put these issues in a commercial, property, public law and human rights context where appropriate.
Our expertise in highway law and inquires is particularly well developed, coming from representing the Secretary of State for Transport and other Highway Authorities in many of the major public inquiries over the past 20 years (both as leading and junior counsel). These have included inquiries into the Newbury Bypass, Birmingham Toll Road and Stonehenge, the M1 Widening scheme and the A14 Ellington to Fen Ditton scheme.
We can also help with planning issues relating to agricultural land, property development, religious organisations, and travellers.
