A leading set specialising in commercial, construction, insurance and property law

Our barristers act as advisers and advocates across the full range of contentious and non-contentious employment work and we have a team of barristers with the seniority and experience to deal with all levels of case, from straightforward dismissal claims through to complex high value restrictive covenant and directors’ duties cases. We appear in all levels of courts and tribunals are known for our pragmatic and commercial approach inside and outside the courtroom.

We understand that employment matters often require swift action in order to restrain wrongdoing, protect brands and sensitive information and preserve assets. Our barristers are experienced in drafting and obtaining all kinds of injunction, often at short notice and out of hours.

We understand that employment disputes can be commercially and personally sensitive and our barristers are used to handling these issues with discretion.

In addition to litigation, our barristers undertake a variety of non-contentious work including drafting bespoke contracts of employment and handbooks, as well as offering in-house training on a range of topics to our legal and corporate clients. We believe in being part of the team and often work with and advise clients in relation to their business reorganisations.

Most of our barristers accept direct instructions from individuals and organisations under the Direct Access Scheme. We are also members of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD).
