EU Law
The law of the European Union, like human rights law, permeates many aspects of public law and judicial review. Whether in the form of directly effective Treaty rights, or of directives and regulations, EU law dictates the form and content of much domestic law.
Hardwicke can advise on such aspects of EU law as discrimination and equality law, freedom of movement, immigration and VAT. In addition, we can provide expertise on presenting complaints to the European Commission, appeals against Commission decisions, and references to the ECJ.
We also handle other aspects of EU law, such as trade and Intellectual Property.
The Senior Practice Manager for public EU work is Daniel Kemp, who can be reached on 020 7691 0003 or email daniel.kemp@hardwicke.co.uk. Alternatively, please call any of our friendly and professional practice managers on 020 7242 2523 or email enquiries@hardwicke.co.uk.
