How to find us
Construction works are taking place on Chancery Lane, which affect traffic, so if you arrive by car it may be easier for you to access our building from New Square.
Situated in central London, at the heart of Lincoln's Inn, we can easily be reached by Underground. Limited car parking (charged) is also available in and around Lincoln's Inn.

Directions by Underground
Chancery Lane Station (Central Line)
Take Exit 4 from the station. Walk past Marks & Spencer on your left and keep walking until you reach the junction of High Holborn and Chancery Lane. Turn left into Chancery Lane, until you reach Bishop's Court (the passage next to the EAT sandwich shop) on the right-hand side of the street. Turn right and walk through the gate at the end of Bishop's Court. Turn right and you will see the main entrance of Hardwicke Building.
Holborn Station (Central & Piccadilly Lines)
Take the Kingsway exit from the station, turn left and continue walking down Kingsway until you reach the junction with Remnant Street (on your left). Turn left into Remnant Street and walk towards Lincoln's Inn Fields. Walk diagonally across the Fields to the bottom right-hand corner where you will see the gate into New Square. Go to the Porters' Lodge and ask to be directed to Hardwicke Building.
Temple Station (Circle & District Lines)
Turn left after exiting the station. Cross the road (Temple Place), head up Arundel Street and continue walking until you reach the Strand. Turn right into the Strand and continue walking (the Royal Courts of Justice will be on your left), until you reach a set of traffic lights.
Cross the road and turn into Chancery Lane and continue on the left-hand side of the street until you reach Bishop’s Court (the passage next to the EAT sandwich shop). Turn left in to Bishop's Court, walk through the gate at the end of Bishop's Court and turn right.
If you are a wheelchair user or have difficulty using stairs, there are two alternative ways of accessing our building:
1. From Chancery Lane: Turn into Bishop's Court (the passage next to the EAT sandwich shop). Proceed through the gate at the end of Bishop's Court - turn right and you will see the main entrance of Hardwicke Building.
2. From New Square, Lincoln's Inn: There is a sloping pathway on the right hand side of the garden, which runs alongside the front entrance of Wilberforce Chambers. At the top of the pathway turn left and our entrance is on the right.
The gates into Lincoln's Inn from Bishop's Court and Carey Street are closed between 7pm and 8am on weekdays and all weekend.
