Corporate Social Responsibility
Corporate social responsibility (CSR) is at the heart of our values as an organisation. We are committed to our community and wider society, and we take part in a range of initiatives that benefit others.
Many of our barristers provide pro bono advice to those who cannot afford legal representation. We also regularly donate to and organise fundraising events for charities. We also like to support others in their charitable activities, and often work together with our clients on their CSR programmes.
We also make our newly refurbished meeting room facilities available to charities.
We are aware of the importance of education, and our responsibility within the legal profession to encourage equality and social mobility. We are one of 51 chambers that are part of the Pegasus Access Scheme, a work experience programme supporting people from diverse backgrounds to develop a career at the Bar.
We also have a Green Team that ensures we operate as an environmentally responsible organisation. We re-use and recycle wherever we can and educate our staff and members to be more environmentally conscious.
We have built strong relationships with organisations including:
- Bar Pro Bono Unit
- London Legal Support Trust
- Personal Support Unit
- Inner Temple Pathways to Law
- St Alban's Primary School
